Sand Hill Scout Reservation - Shotgun Range

Notice: This facility is only available to members of the following unit types: Crew, Jamboree, Lab, Member of, Post, Ship, Team, Troop

This is for one 3 hour time slot at the shotgun range for Scouts BSA, Explorers and Venturers.

This reservation is for the location only and NOT staffing.  On the date reserved, your unit must have a BSA certified range master present to open the range.  The range master's credentials must be provided to the ranger or camp master to check out the equipment.  All relevant BSA safety standards must be followed so your unit may need multiple trained volunteers to open a range depending upon the activity and number of people shooting. Equipment that is damaged outside of normal wear and tear will result in a replacement fee being assess to the unit.

* This price includes 12 rounds of ammo per person.  Additional ammo cost is $12.50 per box of 25 rounds.  We will call you the week after the booking to collect the payment.

Getting My Leaders Trained

Shooting Sports Trainings are offered several times a year.  Please check the calendar at https://tampabayscouting.org/calendar for the current schedule.  For best results, open filter and select training.  Then press apply filter.  The List view shows everything at once.

I Will Need A Range Master Provided

If you need shooting sports staff for your event, please contact your District Executive to find nearby units that may be able to help.

This reservation includes 25 rounds of ammunition per person.  Additional ammunition is $12.50 per box of 25 rounds.  This will be billed to your unit through the camp reservation system.

Please check-in with the campmaster or ranger upon arrival.  If your group is utilizing program facilities, please provide the appropriate credentials at that time,

Please check-out with the campmaster or ranger before leaving.  Any damage to the facilities or extra required cleaning will be billed to your group.

The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council does NOT offer refunds on camping reservations.

In the event we issue a credit, that credit is valid for future camp reservations.
