Please note: this reservation is for the LARGE CABIN ONLY. If you wish to use the small cabin as well, a separate reservation needs to be made.

General Rules:
- Follow the Scout Oath and Law and obey all BSA, Youth Protection, and Guide to Safe Scouting policies (including BALOO and IOLS trained leaders)
- Please leave your “campsite” better than you found it. Examples include:
- No writing or carving on the walls, buildings or trees.
- No chopping standing trees or chopping wood in the buildings. Please utilize the ax yard and follow BSA safety rules.
- No hanging clothes from stove pipes or stoves as this is a fire hazard.
- Clean out ashes from stoves and fireplaces when you first come to camp.
- Please report any damaged equipment to the Council Service Center.
- Units will be expected to be conservative in their use of firewood.
- No alcoholic beverages, tobacco, firearms or explosives are allowed on BSA property.
- No electric or kerosene heaters inside any buildings.
- Units should plan to pack in toilet paper and hand sanitizer to be used in the latrines at either camp during the off-season.
- Units must bring in their own potable water. Neither camp guarantees safe drinking water at the facility.
Camp Burton building rentals - pick-up a key, fire extinguisher, and AED from the Council Service Center by 5pm the Friday immediately before your reservation. A $75.00 fee will be charged for lost keys/locks.
The Northeast Iowa Council invites all Scout Units to participate in service projects while utilizing our facilities. Please contact Mark Schreiber(563.590.9582) or Mike Roling(563.582.4186) to set up and complete a needed project while camping at Burton.

No refunds on canceled dates. Some units reserve camp far in advance. Meanwhile, we are turning other units, who also would like to reserve that weekend, away. If inclement weather, council will work with unit to reschedule to another date.
