Bulk fuel containers must be stored with the Camp Ranger. No liquid fuel including charcoal lighter is to be used for starting fires. No chainsaws permitted.

6. Pets are not allowed in camp.

7. The Boy Scouts of America prohibits the use of alcoholic beverages and controlled substances at encampments or activities on property owned and/or operated by the Boy Scouts of America, or at any activity involving participation of youth members. Adult leaders should support the attitude that young adults are better off without tobacco and may not allow the use of tobacco products at any BSA activity involving youth participants. All Scouting functions, meetings, and activities should be conducted on a smoke-free basis, with smoking areas located away from all participants. No smoking in any building on any council property.

8. All cars and trucks must be parked and unloaded in the designated parking areas. All types of camping vehicles must be parked according to instructions of the Camp Ranger.

9. Carts are provided at most of our council camps for transporting all camping gear to your tent site or cabin. If you have equipment too large or heavy to transport in the carts, please make arrangements with the Camp Administration. For safety reasons, vehicles need to remain in designated parking areas outside of camp. Exceptions may be made for those with handicapped placards with approval of the Camp Administration.

10. Leave your campsite cleaner and in better shape than you found it. Remember, someone will be leaving a campsite for you. All fires are to be started only in established fire rings.

11. Use of the kitchen in the Dining Hall requires specially trained staff, which will be determined on an individual group basis by the Director of Camping.

12. The Simon Kenton Council provides accident insurance for all in-council units. Each unit attending camp must provide a roster form upon arrival. Any accident that occurs at camp must be reported to the camp master or camp ranger
