Notice: This facility is only available to members of the following unit types: Club, Crew, Lab, Post, Ship, Team, Troop

Enjoy our new skeet range with high, low, and underground trap with several shooting stand locations. The range is equipped with remote throwers and Berretta shotguns. Rental of the range is $25 per block (booked under Activities/ShotgunRange) plus $1.00 per shot, which includes use of the gun, ammunition and clays (booked under Ammunition for Shotgun Range). You must use camp owned guns and ammunition.

***Personal firearms or ammunition are NOT permitted to be brought onto camp.***

Important: Ammunition for Shooting Ranges must be purchased prior to arriving at camp. Rounds may be purchased by selecting "Ammunition-Shotgun". Please read the Policy under "Ammunition-Shotgun" for details prior to purchasing ammunition.

Check in/out Procedures:

  • Meet at range at open time with ranger staff
  • Check certifications
  • Unlock closet and access equipment
  • Clean all equipment when finished
  • Place equipment back in closet just as you found it
  • Pick up and haul off trash
  • Ranger staff checks off area

Reservations: To ensure the safety of our campers and staff, all reservations and changes must be made at least 7 days in advance of arrival via our online reservations system. No late reservations or walk-ins will be accepted. 

Safety on Camp:

  • To ensure the safest camping experience, all persons utilizing our camps must follow the guidelines set forth in the Guide to Safe Scouting and Age-Appropriate Guidelines. It is the responsibility of the unit to have appropriate trained leaders for each activity and facility rental.

CPAP & Electricity Usage Guidelines:

  • CPAP Machines must be battery operated. The batteries may be charged at available power outlets.
  • Running extension cords to tents is prohibited.
  • Generators are not to be run in Circle Ten Camps.

Vehicle Policy:

  • 1 vehicle will be allowed to park NEAR your campsite. All others vehicles MUST be moved to the parking lot.

All range fees MUST be paid at time of booking. 

Any deposits paid will be refunded after check out, with verification from Camp Ranger that facilities were clean, undamaged and all equipment is inventoried.

Important:

  • Water in campsites and bathrooms may be turned off starting November 15 through March 1.  Water will not be turned on and off based on the weather so please be aware that water may not be available in all campsites and bathrooms during these dates. Water will be available year-round at the Dining Hall (next to receiving door).

Upon arrival, you will drive along the Scout Law signs down to the Ranger office across from the parking lot to check in.

Unit check-in and gate opening times for all camps are as follows:

  • Friday: Open - 3:00pm; Close - 10:00pm
  • Saturday: Open - 8:30am,  Close - 10:00pm
  • Sunday: Open - 7:00am, Close - 12:00pm (noon)

Documents Required at Check-in

Unit Events: Unit Leader must turn the documents listed below into the Ranger at check-in. Unit Leader to collect and retain the Annual Health and Medical record. Blank forms will not be available at camp.

  • Participant Roster (downloaded from my.scouting.org)
  • Any certifications required for activities

Check Out Procedure Back to Top

Ranger staff will come around on Sunday morning to check you out of your campsite.

Check out Procedure

  • All trash should be removed and hauled to dumpsters
  • Camp fires rings should be cleaned out
  • Latrines must be washed or swept out
  • Picnic tables must be placed under pavilions
Cancellation Policy Back to Top
  1. All refund requests must be submitted by email at least 10 days before the start of the event to: 571.RefundRequest@scouting.org. Refund requests will be considered for personal illness or family emergencies.
  2. A service charge of 10% of the amount paid (minimum of $5.00), less any non-refundable deposits or any already purchased items (food, t-shirts, etc.), will be assessed to cover administrative fees.
  3. Refund requests must include the following:
    • Event Name and Event Date in the email header.
    • Name, telephone, email, and address of person requesting the refund.
    • Unit type and number.
    • Receipt or confirmation number, if available.
    • Reason for request.
  4. Circle Ten Council will consider moving a reservation once within the calendar year, if space is available.
Cleaning Policy Back to Top

All Units are required to follow Leave no Trace guidelines while on camp. Please clean any faciliies used such as ranges, campsite (including latrines) prior to checkout. Bring all trash to the main dumpster.
