The BSA requires all Aquatics programs be supervised by a lifeguard/or other qualified supervision* at a ration of 1 guard for every 10 participants. Camp La-No-Che requires at least one of these guards to be certified LNC Camp Staff member.

*Units may provide their own additional qualified supervision for aquatics activities, provided one lifeguard is a hired camp La-No-Che staff member. "Qualified Supervision" includes adults (18 yrs or older) with current BSA lifeguard, Red Cross Lifeguard, or BSA Aquatics Supervision Training. Proof of qualification requires.
