Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that involves scaling shorter walls (known as boulders) and moving horizontally without the use of ropes or harnesses. Bouldering helps Scouts learn Problem-Solving Skills, Perseverance and Resilience, and Focus and Concentration.
The bouldering walls are booked per person climbing in 3 hour blocks. The help foster the use of our facilties, units may be booked within the same time slot. Each unit is responsible for their own safety personel.
This reservation is for the location only and NOT staffing.
This activity requires at least one council approved climbing director (Level 2 or NCS) and one council approved instructor (Level 1). If your unit does not have these instructors, they may be available to hire at the rate of $125 per climbing director and $100 per climbing instructor. If you unit cannot procure council approved instructors within 10 days before the reservation then the reservation will be cancelled and you can have your funds refunded or put towards a later booking.
Equipment that is damaged outside of normal wear and tear will result in a replacement fee being assess to the unit.

The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council does NOT offer refunds on camping reservations.
In the event we issue a credit, that credit is valid for future camp reservations.
