This is for one 3 hour block of time at the Rifle Range.
This reservation item is for the facility use only and does NOT include staffing.
If your unit does not have council approved volunteers to open the rifle range, then include the Addon - Rifle Instruction on your reservation.
This reservation includes 50 rounds of ammunition per person. Additional ammunition is $12.50 per box of 50 rounds. This will be billed to your unit through the camp reservation system. (Note: the Rifle Merit Badge Requires a minimum of 75 shots for qualification)
Details:
On the date reserved, your unit must have the appropriate Council Approved trained staffing present to open the range. The staff credentials must be provided to the ranger or camp master to check out the equipment. All relevant BSA safety standards must be followed so your unit may need multiple trained volunteers to open a range depending upon the activity and number of people shooting. Equipment that is damaged outside of normal wear and tear will result in a replacement fee being assess to the unit.

New Requirement
At a minimum, all Scouts BSA troops, Venturing crews, and Sea Scout ships who provide unit-level sponsored/ planned range and target activities must have at least one registered unit leader 21+ years of age take the Range Activity SAFEty online training at my.Scouting. This individual must be present at the range during the activity and give their certificate to the range staff.

Please check-in with the campmaster or ranger upon arrival. If your group is utilizing program facilities, please provide the appropriate credentials at that time,
Please check-out with the campmaster or ranger before leaving. Any damage to the facilities or extra required cleaning will be billed to your group.
The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council does NOT offer refunds on camping reservations.
In the event we issue a credit, that credit is valid for future camp reservations.
