Climbing offers opportunities to learn new skills, expand personal boundaries, problem solve, and test yourself. It's hard to beat the satisfaction of climbing to the top.
Climbing & Rappeling on our 32 foot climbing tower are considered age-appropriate activities for Scouts BSA, Venturing and Webelos age Scouts. Younger Cub Scouts may participate in climbing, but may NOT particpate in rappeling activities.

Cabins
Special notices regarding cabin rentals:
A $200.00 security deposit is required for all weekend cabin rentals. The deposit is to be made in the form of a check made payable to Suffolk County Council and must be submitted by the unit at camp upon check-in. Please be sure that trip leaders are aware of this policy and are prepared to provide a deposit check when checking in at camp. The check will be returned to leaders when checking out of the cabin. Credit or debit cards cannot be accepted as security deposits.
Both the Boathouse and McMorris Lodge are equipped with Central Station fire alarms. Pull stations are present in several locations within each of these buildings. Tampering with or falsely activating these stations is a crime. In the event this occurs, the camp will ask the individual or unit to depart immediately. The unit will be responsible for any fine that may be incurred.
Before departing on Sunday, please check-out at the camp office. If you are departing a cabin, a staff member will do a walk thru of the facility with you before returning your security deposit check.
