C.W. Post Memorial Scout Camp is a camp located in Post, Texas offering a variety of activities for scouts and adults alike! It offers multiple facilities for whatever event or outing you have planned. We have multiple camp sites with water, outdoor restroom facilities, and picnic tables. Bunkhouses are available with nearby restrooms and showers.
Post has a swimming pool, bike trails, shooting ranges, and a Wild West Village available seasonally.

Cub Scout Packs can only campout 2 (TWO) overnights per BSA Policy
Camp Don Harrington can be used by any registered Scout and Scouter, parent, family, and guests. Overnight camping can only be registered members of the Boy Scouts of America. There will be no fee to camp, however there may be usage fees for other facilities and other equipment.
Camp MK Brown can be used by any registered Scout and Scouter, parent, family, and guests. Overnight camping is open to non-registered guests with prior approval of the Golden Spread Council. There will be no fee to camp, however there may be usage fees for other facilities and other equipment.
Currently, there are no deposits required but the Council reserves the right to require a deposit depending on the event.
Upon arrival, please text the Camp Ranger and he will check you in and direct you to the appropriate camp site or facility. This information will be provided to you upon email confirmation.
All vehicles must remain in the parking lot with the exception of unit trailers which, with permission from the Ranger, may remain at the assigned campsite.
Please check out with the Ranger prior to leaving.
If you cancel the use of camp where you have paid to use a facility or equipment, you must cancel within 3 business days or you will incur a cancellation fee of 25 percent of the total fees incurred. Ex: You paid $50.00 to use the pool (10 people) and you cancel 2 days prior to the date you reserved, you will be charged $12.50 and refunded the remaining amount.
Please cleanup the area you used prior to departure. You should always leave an area cleaner than you found it! The Camp Ranger will notifiy the Council Office if your unit has not left the area at least how you found it and may cause future unit deposits or total ban from the camp.
