Camp Mountaineer is a first-class Scout camp just minutes off I-79 in Morgantown, WV.  With over 1,000 acres to explore, the camp is guaranteed to have something to offer your group for a outdoor program experience.  Start your reservation by clicking the "MAC Camps" drop-down menu above and select either Camp Mountaineer or Camp Lynn to reserve their facilities.

Scouts: All Boy Scouts of America packs, troops, and crews can utilize the camps for hiking, camping, fishing, and a variety of other activities.  Scout units from outside the Mountaineer Area Council are also welcome to utilize the camp as well for no additional fees!  Scout reservations must adhere to the policies for unit camping found in the current edition of the BSA's Guide to Safe Scouting.

Non-Scouts: Non-Scout groups (ie groups not representing registered units of the Boy Scouts of America) may want to consider utilizing our camps for their next retreat or camping adventure.  Several types of indoor facilities are available as well as rustic campsites.  Non-Scout group reservations must sign a hold-harmless agreement, sign a rules and regulations agreement, and provide a certificate of general liability insurance for minimum coverage as described below naming the Mountaineer Area Council and the Boy Scouts of America as additionally insured.
