Camp Use Policy Back to Top

Camp Snyder facilites are available to Scout Units, schools, church groups, established youth organizations, and government agencies. We do not rent facilites to private party events. We are only able to support tent camping or cabin camping.

Check In Procedure Back to Top

All groups/organizations must check in at the Hylton building upon arrival. (first on the right when you enter the camp gates)

The event or unit leader is responsible for providing a head count for the event upon arrival, they also need to confirm correct contact information in case of emergency.

Camping is allowed only in designated camping areas and parking is not allowed in the campsite loop.

By Order of the Prince William Fire Marshal and per PWC Land Usage agreement, all vehicles must park in main parking lot. One trailer will be allowed to remain in a campsite area only in the designated space.  If using a trailer ensure that you have it noted in your reservation comments or you alert Camp Administrative Staff prior to your event.
