Operated by Scouting America National Capital Area Council, Goshen Scout Reservation (GSR) has provided summer camp experiences since 1967. Through our mission of providing unforgettable outdoor experiences that build character, leadership, and lifelong memories, we serve as a premier summer camp destination for Scouts.
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Goshen Scout Reservation stretches over 2,800 acres and is surrounded by the George Washington Jefferson National Forest and state game land. With one resident Cub Scout Camp, three Scouts BSA resident camps, and a high adventure base, GSR offers something for every Scout – from first time campers to seasoned adventurers.
