Camp Tanah Keeta

Welcome to the enchanting realm of Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation, where the whispering pines and rustling leaves beckon scouts to a world of boundless adventure and camaraderie. Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, our camp serves as a gateway to nature's wonders, offering an immersive experience that goes beyond the ordinary.

Situated near Tequesta in Martin County, Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation spans 640 acres along the south edge of Jonathan Dickinson State Park and the historic Loxahatchee River Trail. Deeded to the Council in 1953, this heavily forested property, adorned with majestic slash pines, is home to the Tanah Keeta Summer Camp program and the Order of the Arrow, Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge.

At Tanah Keeta, we believe in the transformative power of the outdoors. Our sprawling grounds provide the canvas for many activities that challenge, inspire, and unite scouts in their quest for personal growth. From the exhilarating heights of our high ropes courses to the tranquil shores of the camp's pristine lake, every corner holds a new opportunity for discovery.

Led by a dedicated team of experienced scout leaders, our programs are meticulously designed to blend skill development with the spirit of scouting. Whether mastering the art of knot-tying, honing wilderness survival skills, or participating in team-building exercises, scouts at Tanah Keeta learn valuable life skills and forge lasting bonds with fellow scouts.

As the sun sets over our campfire circles, scouts gather to share stories, laughter, and the warmth of newfound friendships. Our camp embraces the time-honored traditions of scouting while fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for scouts of all backgrounds.

Tanah Keeta is more than just a destination; it's a community where values like respect, responsibility, and resilience are instilled in the hearts of young scouts. Our state-of-the-art facilities ensure a comfortable stay, with modern amenities seamlessly integrated into the natural surroundings.

Join us on a journey of exploration, self-discovery, and a celebration of the timeless spirit of scouting. Whether you're a seasoned scout or a newcomer eager to embrace the adventure, Boy Scout Camp Tanah Keeta invites you to embark on an unforgettable expedition where every step is a stride toward leadership, friendship, and a lifelong love for the great outdoors. Adventure awaits – welcome to Tanah Keeta!

Camp Loxahatchee

Camp Loxahatchee is on the western half of Tanah Keeta and lies on the Loxahatchee River. It is the main camping area and features a Dining Hall, pool, COPE, climbing tower, ranges, the OA Ring, Fort Blanchard amphitheater (directly on the Loxahatchee River), the new Lassiter Training Center, and numerous campsites. All Camp Loxahatchee campsites have hot water shower/bathroom facilities, pavilions with electricity, and fire rings.

Camp Clear Lake

Clear Lake covers the eastern half of one square mile property of Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation.  The title of Camp "Clear Lake" is derived from a small lake in the southeastern corner of Tanah Keeta, which has the name "Clear Lake". In 1957 the first summer camp at Tanah Keeta was held in Camp Clear Lake. There are two large camping areas at Camp Clear Lake and a hot water bathhouse. Each campsite features a pavilion and fire ring.
