Quivira Scout Ranch is nestled in the Chautauqua Flint Hills of Southeast Kansas, just 90 minutes southeast of Wichita, Kansas. This majestic camp property that is both, beautiful and adventurous, is 3,000 acres of wooded, rugged, sprawling, solitude prairie land perfect for a camping and hiking experience. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and fishing on the 500-acre Murray Gill Lake.
Take advantage of the great opportunities at Quivira Scout Ranch to enhance the experience for Scouts, Families, Churches, Reunions, and other groups. Plan your own outpost adventure and hike the Border Patrol, one of the older activities at Quivira Scout Ranch. While backpacking, you can explore the history of The Ranch and find the remnants of the Clark Walker, Charlie Woodworth and other homesteads.
