Camp Use Policy Back to Top

The Scout oath and law should be followed when staying on Seneca Waterways Council camp properties.

Check In Procedure Back to Top

A representative from an arriving weekend camping group should stop in at Langie Lodge which is located on the right-hand side of the drive entering the camp.  Check-in is handled by the Camp master Corps. and they will give you the necessary forms and facility keys.  Groups will turn-in a unit roster of all persons staying at the camp.  Firewood which has been ordered will have been already delivered to the facility.

The camp masters hold a meeting with cracker barrel on the first night of camping.  This is usually held at 9 PM in the Langie Lodge conference room.  Troops are asked to discuss their camping plans and make any special requests.  Youth leaders are offered an opportunity to share.

Check Out Procedure Back to Top

Check out from camp is started by phoning the camp masters and requesting check out from camp.  The units are expected to leave the facilities clean and as described on the documents given at check-in.  The ranger and camp masters will visit, inspect the facilities, and lock up the cabin.
