Camp Moonyah

Camp Moonyah is 37 acres of densely wooded land leased from the Army Corps of Engineers. Located at the end of Greenwing Drive on a point of land along the south side of the Gilmerton Deep Creek Canal and along the north side of Deep Creek in Chesapeake, Virginia, Camp Moonyah is a great place for primitive camping. For over 50 years Tidewater Council Scouts have enjoyed the convenience of Camp Moonyah for working on camping skills, advancements and just enjoying time around a campfire. Campers will need to supply their own water.
