One of four year round camps on the Reservation, Camp Lions serves the long-term camper with facilities compliant with and in most cases exceeding BSA National Standards. Most prominently, it includes an air conditioned dining hall capable of seating 400 people, a 25 yard swimming pool, central "uni-sex" shower facilities, a health lodge, trading post, activity shelters, a 40 foot high climbing & rappelling tower, shooting sports range, and eleven troop campsites with water and latrines. During the summer, this Camp offers a wide variety of activities and programs ranging from camping skills and merit badges to a host of aquatic and High Adventure program opportunities.

Training Center
This is the main administration building for our camp operations. Rental of this facility includes the main room and small kitchen/ storage room. Outside on the porch is a male and female bathroom. The office area is not open for public use.
The staff center can only be rented to BSA groups. This facility contains two bathrooms with showers (Seasonal).
Dining Hall
The Dining Hall Dining Area fee includes a Male and Female bathroom. All cleaning supplies are provided and must be used to return the dining hall to the original condition that it was received in. All furniture is to be returned to its original location.

Shelters
The OA shelter has electricity and tables. Furniture can be re-arranged but must be returned to its original location. Fireplace is usable but it is the responsibility or the user to provide or obtain proper fire control equipment.

Please ensure that your facility use request is submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to your arrival date otherwise your reservation can't be guranteed.
Check In Procedure Back to Top
Prior to your arrival at camp, the Weekends Campmaster will contact your unit with exact check-in information. Upon arriving at camp, the Campmaster will check you in, collect your participant roster, explain the rules, and show you to your campsite.
Check Out Procedure Back to Top
The Campmaster for the weekend will advise you of the specific check-out procedures for your departure. Please ensure that your campsite and any faculties you utilize while visiting the property are left in the same condition, if not better, than what you found them in.
Cancellation Policy Back to Top
Tidewater Council property reservations that are canceled in advance of 14 days prior to the reservation are transferable; otherwise you will receive a refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee, or the reservation fee, whichever is less. If the reservation is canceled within 14 days, no refund is given, but the reservation is transferable to another rental period within the calendar year.

All facilities and amenities must be left in as good if not better condition then when found. If facilities are not cleaned or amenities left in nonworking order, you will be assessed a cleaning or replacement fee.
