Thank you for visiting us here at the Garden State Council, BSA! 

Currently, all Garden State Council, BSA properties are Limited to Day Use. This is due to the regulations related to COVID-19.

The Garden State Council has put in place the following safety guidelines, for all Council properties, with New Jersey’s most recent COVID-19 regulations on indoor and outdoor gatherings:

-All outdoor gatherings must be limited to a maximum of 25 people. All group members must maintain a social distancing requirement of six feet, excluding family members or caretakers. Contact and sharing of any physical items or food between group members is prohibited. All attendees must wear masks, covering their mouth and nose, at all times. While more than one group may be on the property at a given time, significant space between groups must be observed.

-All groups must provide their own hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes.

- Please use contactless pay options through our reservation system or refer to the Council Service Center for additional payment options. Payment will not be accepted at camp.

- Overnight group camping is not permitted.

Rangers, campmasters and staff will enforce these guidelines. Please read and distribute the Garden State Council’s COVID Participant Liability Waiver to all attendees of your event prior to arrival. A roster of all Leaders, Scouts and Non-Scout attendees is required at check in.

Garden State Council, BSA is proud to offer facilities for hiking, fishing, scout skills, shooting sports, tomahawks and MORE! If a unit reserves at least $50 worth of program activities, then they will be eligible for the use of a tent campsite for free for DAY USE ONLY. This can be a place to prepare lunch, keep gear or individuals not participating in other activities.

If your unit is in need of a meeting space because of COVID restrictions, reach out to the Service Center to check availability at Council properties.

As the weather grows colder, your unit may need firewood for meetings.
