Stearns Family Camp

Choose your length of stay. Experience our newest summer family vacation opportunity. Stay in either a fully furnished yurt, or a tent that we provide while taking advantage of a full menu of programs including waterfront, ponies, crafts, bounce pillow, and more! Also unique to this location is the opportunity to purchase a dining program where all meals are provided!

Directions to Camp
From High 55
Go west on Hwy 55 to South Haven. Take Hwy 2 north (right) through Fairhaven. Turn right on Co. Rd. 44. Follow Co. Rd. 44 to Stearns Scout Camp.
The camp gate will be on your right.
From Interstate 94
Take I-94 north to the Clearwater exit. At the Clearwater exit go left (south) on Hwy 24. Follow Hwy 24 to Co Rd 40. Turn right on Co Rd 40. Co Rd 40 become Co Rd 46, follow to Co Rd 44. Turn Left on Co. Rd. 44. Follow Co. Rd. 44 to Stearns Scout Camp.
The camp gate will be on your left.

Cancellation policy:

All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits for cancellations made prior to May 1st will be applied to the remaining balance on the order, if applicable. Fees paid for cancellations made after May 1st will be forfeit.

Funds from cancellations made prior to camp (but after May 1st) can be used towards new reservations or additions for 2020 Summer Cub Camp.

Camp Policies:

I understand that I am responsible for ensuring all payments are made on time. I further understand that all campers must have a signed medical form and waiver with them. 

MINNESOTA LAW requires all campers to provide a current health history form upon arrival to camp. Youth forms must be signed by a parent or guardian. In order for a youth to shoot BB guns that portion of the Health form must also be signed. Health forms are available at either Scout Office or get one online at: www.goscouting.org/forms. Adults must have a completed health history form as well.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CHECK-IN

A staff member will greet you at the entrance and give you instructions on where to park and check-in. At check-in you will be given a map and detailed schedule for the weekend. Be prepared to turn in your completed health forms and shooting sports waivers for all participants.

Following check-in, a staff member will lead you to your tent-site or yurt. You will not be able to park directly next to your tent-site or yurt, so please be prepared to carry your gear a short distance.

There will be no meal served on your first night, so please eat dinner before coming to camp.

Cancellations made more than 45 days in advance a group can transfer building/site fees paid toward another date within one (1) year. Cancellations made less than 45 days in advance will result in loss of building/site fees paid.
