Program areas and programs activities can be reserved separately or on-site with the ranger.

Ranger Notes

Program Ranger Shea and her staff are looking forward to a weekend of outdoor fun with your unit. This reservation is for use of the campsite and any programming you signed up for. If you have questions on the facility or programming- email Program Ranger Shea shea.mackin@scouting.org

Check out Procedures for Camp Tom Wooten- 
- You campsite must be free of all gear and trash 
-Trash must be taken to the dumpster on the Lost Pines Side (Just past the BSA  Archery Ranger Turn right 3 big dumpster near a building - use the one labeled trash)
-Clean your assigned bath house (see the posted assignments near BH 5) Sunday Morning the "Employees Only" Door that faces the pool will be open to access clean supplies and trash bags)
-Ranger will need to inspect your assigned bathhouses, fire pit that it is cold to the touch, and campsite is cleaned up.
- Please give the Ranger an estimated check out/inspection time and then text them when you are ready for camp and bath house inspection.

Once  you turn into Lost Pines Scout Reservation off of 1441:

You will take your first RIGHT and drive towards Camp Tom Wooten.

Drive 1 mile and over 2 bridges to get to Camp Town Wooten.

Please note you are driving through and active BSA Camp on your way with Scouts and wildlife. The MAX speed limit is 10 mph.

Please remember to check in with the Program Ranger on the Wooten Porch as soon as you arrive.   If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 512-926-6363.  At Check In -Turn in your roster of people on site and settle up on any usage/program fees that need to be taken care of (either as a Pack or as individuals) receive wrist bands for your group.
